The Domane+ AL 5 is a lightweight alloy e-road bike that delivers an authentic road bike feel with the benefit of an electric boost. The intuitive and natural-feeling HyDrive pedal assist system lets you keep pace with friends, crush hilly terrain or push yourself harder on training rides.

The Walkthrough

Light, powerful, electric

Light, powerful, electric

An integrated 250 Wh battery is hidden in the downtube and a powerful yet lightweight rear hub motor gives you that extra boost on the road.

Extend your ride

Extend your ride

Double your range with an optional 250 Wh Range Extender that can expand your ride to an average of 80 mi/128 km in Eco mode.

Control in the palm of your hand

Control in the palm of your hand

Easily toggle between the Domane+ AL’s three assist modes without taking your hands off the bars using the intuitive top-mounted controls.

Shimano 105

Shimano 105

With shift technology inherited from mechanical Ultegra and Dura-Ace, Shimano 105 gives you top-shelf shifting at a budget-friendly price. Whether you’re commuting year-round or training for the big race, Shimano 105 is a workhorse drivetrain that won’t hold you back as you grow in the sport.

Don’t forget your pedals

Don’t forget your pedals

This bike doesn’t come with pedals because you’ll have a better time on your new bike if you choose your own. See the pedal guide to find the best pedals for your riding style. We recommend flats for versatility or clipless pedals for control and efficiency.

Connect, customise, calculate

Connect, customise, calculate

The Trek Central app seamlessly connects to your Domane+ for real-time range calculations, activity tracking and customised motor tuning. Plus, navigation and mapping features help you stay on course wherever you ride.

How tall are you?

To measure your height, stand up straight, barefoot, with your back, heels, shoulders and head all touching a wall. While looking straight ahead, place a book or straight edge on your head and slowly push it against the wall. Your straight edge should be parallel with the floor. Mark the spot where the bottom of the book is touching the wall. The distance from the marked spot to the floor is your height.

What is your inside leg?

How to measure: Stand barefoot with your back straight and against a wall. Tuck a ruler or something that extends to the floor between your legs. Using both hands, and keeping it level, pull the ruler up into your crotch as if you were sitting on the saddle. Measure the distance from the top edge of the ruler to the ground to find your inside leg measurement. Your inside leg is very important to your final bike size so please measure carefully.
